We prioritize strengths-based leadership at 3Seven and we strongly believe that you should too! But when I mention that phrase, most people recall images of their first interview where they were asked to rattle off a list of strengths and weaknesses. That isn’t what we are referring to here!
In order to have truly strengths-based leadership both leadership and employees have to understand what a strength is, be able to articulate it, and have a culture that celebrates them regularly. We are talking about all this and more in this episode all about strengths-based leadership.

You need different strengths on your team. As a leader, it is very easy to highlight strengths similar to your own. It takes intentional effort and time to notice and applaud strengths in others that are different from our own. In order to have a successful and satisfied team, you need people around you with different strengths.
Strengths-Based Leadership produces higher engagement and satisfaction. We’ve all had those work projects or tasks that just suck the life right out of us. When we lead from a place that highlights strengths and looks for ways for your employees to utilize them, you will find that your employees will be more engaged in their work, more productive, and it will lead to higher satisfaction in the workplace.
